The most common pre-tuning procedure is a Pitch Correction.  This procedure takes an extra hour, and the additional fee is​:

Upright Piano:  $65

Grand Piano:  $75​

In this scenario, the entire Piano Tuning appointment will take between 2.5 - 3 hours to complete.​​

Pianos that have been relocated, or not tuned within the last 1-2 years, often require a Pitch Correction before they can be tuned.
